Compact walk-along trenchers are perfect for small jobs, including:

• Easy to use
• Towable on a small equipment trailer – by pick-up or sport utility vehicle

What can they do?

• The maximum trench depth of smaller models is usually 2 feet
• Larger walk-along machines can match the depth capabilities of small riding trenchers, but are not as productive on large jobs.

Compact and medium-sized riding trenchers
Primarily rented by contractors, many riding trenchers can be equipped with attachments such as a utility backhoe.
